My name is Anastas Maragos, the filmmaker behind RoyalZProduction.

For over a decade, I've been helping brands, businesses, creators, and organizations tell stories through cinematic video and photography. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, I've had the opportunity to work with more than 400 clients—from local businesses to internationally recognized brands—creating content that connects with audiences and delivers real results.

Building a production company in Saskatchewan has taught me to become a true all-around filmmaker. Rather than specializing in a single niche, I've spent the last 10+ years developing the ability to adapt to virtually any production. From automotive films, corporate storytelling, branded commercials, fitness and wellness campaigns, music videos, interviews, documentaries, event coverage, personal brands, restaurants, hotels, travel films, e-commerce, medical aesthetics, agriculture, sports, YouTube productions, online education, weddings, and commercial photography, every project is approached with the same attention to detail and cinematic storytelling.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with organizations and brands including SaskTel, Mazergroup, Waypoint Insurance, and numerous businesses across Canada. I also collaborate often with One Five Five Films on Indigenous documentary productions and created luxury hospitality content for a boutique hotel overlooking the caldera in Santorini, Greece, giving me experience producing content for both local businesses and international clients.

Outside of client work, I've built and grown my own creative businesses and educational platforms. My YouTube channel, RoyalZProduction, reached more than 80,000 subscribers and over 5 million views, helping filmmakers around the world improve their cinematography, editing, and creative workflow. I later launched Learn Freelance Filmmaking, an online education platform with more than 1,000 students and hundreds of in-depth lessons covering filmmaking, editing, music videos, and automotive filmmaking.

I've also co-founded and led the creative direction for multiple successful businesses. As a co-founder of Kryo Health & Wellness, I produced more than 1,000 pieces of social media content, managed photography, video production, Meta and Google advertising, and marketing strategies that helped generate over seven figures in revenue. At Dark Mode, I led content creation and digital marketing that generated multiple six figures. Prior to that, I helped build Increase Performance Online, producing more than 5,000 social media videos, 1,000+ educational course videos, and growing its YouTube audience to over 15,000 subscribers.

My experience also extends into larger-scale productions. I've filmed more than 80 music videos across Saskatchewan, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Los Angeles, worked with global filmmaking brands including Aputure, Zhiyun, MotionVFX, PrismLensFX, Epidemic Sound, Moment, Freewell, Tropic Colour, Amaran, and many others, and contributed to the Saskatchewan feature film Gifts of Christmas as a DIT, B-camera operator, drone pilot, and lead editor.

Photography has remained an equally important part of my creative career. My work has accumulated more than 300 million views and 2 million downloads on Unsplash, placing me among the platform's Top 500 creators, with over 100 photographs featured on the Unsplash Editorial feed.

Today, RoyalZProduction brings together over a decade of production experience with a passion for creating meaningful visual stories. Whether it's a commercial campaign, documentary, branded content, social media strategy, or cinematic film, my goal is simple: create work that not only looks beautiful but helps businesses, brands, and people leave a lasting impression.
